Enjoyed reading this article from the Harvard Business Review suggesting how companies can quickly tell how well they are strategically aligned. That is, to what degree all elements of the business, organisational structure, marketing, IT etc. are working together. Looking at 4 categories weighed against strategy effectiveness and organisational effectiveness it places you in (from best to worst); Very best chance of winning, best intentions but incapable, boldly going nowhere, not long for this world.
